Working full-time, being a wife (or mom, or both, or enter tiring responsibility here), and working on your side hustle can be tiring. If you’re like me the last thing you want to have to think about is what to cook for dinner after a long day. During the week, I usually find myself making the same dishes over and over again or ordering in. So, lame!

So, when Terra’s Kitchen asked that I try their farm to table meal delivery service, I was like hell yeah!

(my happy dance)

Terra’s Kitchen Review

Terra’s Kitchen offers healthy meals that can be cooked in 30-minutes or less. There were so many options to choose from on their website. Options varied from gluten-free, to vegetarian, to meals for meat-lovers. I ended up ordering the steak fajita rice bowl, creamy black bean sliders, grilled chicken and caramelized pineapple salsa rice bowl, a berry balsamic salad and a veggie kale caesar. Three dinners for two people and two lunches for me came out to just under $100! This included every single ingredient I needed to make each meal.

After placing my order, it arrived at my door in a climate controlled vessel a few days later. My first impressions were:

  1. This vessel is heavy as hell. (be prepared!)
  2. How cool though that it kept my items refrigerated and fresh
  3. Happy that I didn’t have to worry about discarding it, because it came with a return label

Yes, all vessels are reusable! Just peel off the delivery label to reveal the return label, and leave it on your doorstep. It’s picked up on the next business day, which is great! I live in an apartment, so I was happy that I didn’t have to worry about a big ol’ box taking up space.

In the vessel are all ingredients needed for each meal and recipe cards. The ingredients come pre-portioned and pre-chopped (thank the lawd) and really helped with getting dinner done quickly.

The recipe cards were really thoughtful too. They had easy to follow instructions, as well as a list of kitchen gadgets you’ll need, and my favorite part: they offer beer and wine pairing suggestions! The wine pairing for the steak was a Cabernet Sauvignon, which I happened to have in my rack, and it complemented our meal perfectly.

Of the meals I chose, my favorite was definitely the grilled chicken and caramelized pineapple salsa bowl. There was so much flavor and it literally took me 25 minutes to make! The steak fajita bowl came in close second.  One thing to note is that the portions don’t seem like they feed two when you first take them out of the vessel, so I was a little worried. However, the portions turned out to be filling enough for both my husband and I.

I think Terra’s Kitchen is perfect for:

  1. The person who doesn’t want to have to always think through what to cook for dinner
  2. The person who wants to try new recipes and get new ideas
  3. The person who appreciates fresh, high-quality ingredients
  4. The person that likes getting mail they can eat 🙂

I’m definitely looking forward to my next order and luckily for you, Terra’s Kitchen is offering my readers $30 off their first order if they use code: JISELLE30. So make sure to visit their site HERE and try it out for yourself.
