1. 5th Annual Edible Escape: Nov. 5, 2015

Edible Brooklyn will be hosting their 5th Annual Edible Escape tomorrow from 6:00PM  – 9:00PM in Brooklyn, NY.
Why go? Tickets are only $45 and you’ll be able to sample some globally inspired food and drink that are prepared from local establishments. (Support local business!) More info here: Edible Escape. Tickets are still available and if you act quick you can get tickets for $39 here.

2. Savor The Bronx Restaurant Week: Nov. 3 – Nov. 13, 2015

Restaurant weeks are LIFE! They’re really the perfect chance to try as many restaurants as possible, and try multiple dishes for the low low!
Why go? First, the Bronx really does NOT get enough love! It’s like the lost borough and supporting local restaurants during this week will not only help local business, but give you an opportunity to explore some of the Bronx’s food staples! 3. Toast of Brooklyn – Wine, Food & Art Festival: Nov. 7, 2015

Toast of Brooklyn will provide guests with wines, spirits, beers and tastings from celebrity chefs. The event is split into an afternoon (12:30PM-4:30PM) and evening session (5:00PM-9:00PM.) The evening session will have a special guest performance as well as a bartender challenge!
Why go? All guests will receive a souvenir wine glass, there will be live music and for the duration of your session you will be sampling some pretty excellent food and drink. I think the latter is enough to make this a go-to event! 4. Bloody Mary & Oyster Feast: Nov. 7, 2015

Come brunch in Queens this weekend at the Bloody Mary & Oyster Feast! Your ticket gets you 10 oysters, unlimited Bloody Mary’s, access to a bagel bar and cheese station. There will also be a DJ to get you up and moving. After your 3rd or 4th Bloody Mary you’ll be a great dancer! I promise 😉
Why go? 1. Unlimited Bloody Mary’s (DUH) 2. Brunch is the best meal of the day 3. There will be music & prizes (I love winning!) and 4. 5. NYC Cider Week: Nov. 6 – Nov. 15, 2015

For all my cider lovers, this is YOUR week! You’ll have 9 days to visit each participating restaurant and bar and sample ciders through tastings, dinners, pairings etc.
Why go? Participating restaurants and bars will host pairings, prixe fixe dinners etc. all around a common theme: cider! These events will either be free or discounted and are perfect ways to try new ciders and learn about which foods pair well. For more info on this week visit: Ciderweeknyc.com

6. New York Taste Presented by CITI: Nov. 10, 2015

Whether you consider yourself a foodie or not, this is a must attend event! Although the ticket price may be a little pricey, if you can find a way to do it, it’s a splurge that will pay itself off. You will enjoy all you can eat and drink from more than 40 of the cities best restaurants and bars. Some of my favorite in attendance will be: The Meatball Shop, Leyenda, Bodega Negra, Quality Italian and Toro, plus many more.

7. 20th Annual Men Cooking For Change Food Fundraiser: Nov. 15, 2015

Head up to Harlem for this pretty awesome fundraising event hosted by Women in The Black. New York’s most talented chefs will come together to compete for the title of “King Chef” and of course you will be able to taste the deliciousness that results from it.
Why go? Um, because watching men cook is pretty hot! Oh and of course because you will not only be enjoying great food, but also giving back. 😉 For more info and tickets visit Harlem One Stop

8. 6th Annual Holiday Spirits Bazaar: Nov. 19, 2015

Bring in the Holidays with this years Holiday Spirits Bazaar at The Bowery Hotel! Guests will have access to unlimited Holiday cocktails  to sip on, as well as cheese and bread bites.
Why go? “For New York’s cocktail elite and casual imbibers alike” –Societe Perrier. Proceeds from ticket purchases will go to the Children’s Aid Society, a non-profit here in NYC, and guests are encouraged to bring a new unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots. So, not only will you be drinking and eating to your hearts desire, you will also be giving back. That sounds like a win-win to me. 9. The Village Voice’s Holiday Spirits Cocktail Cruise: Nov. 19, 2015

Bring in the holidays with The Village Voice, cruising around Manhattan, enjoying a complimentary dinner and sipping on wine, spirits and specialty cocktails, while dancing the night away to a live salsa band and beats by DJ Tim Martell! Drinks will be provided by Rums of Puerto Rico, Barefoot Wine & Bubbly, Brooklyn Winery, Sag Harbor Rum and Queens Courage Gin, just to name a few. Boarding will begin at 6:00PM with a sail time of 8:00PM.

10. 3rd Annual NYC Autumn Wine Festival: Nov. 21, 2015

Come join other Wine-O’s at the Broad Street Ballroom, where it will be transformed into a wine lovers paradise! Ticket holders will be able to taste over 175 wines from around the world in their complimentary wine glass. In addition to the many, many, many wines, you will also be able to enjoy light hors d’oeuvres and live jazz. Can you picture the ambiance already?
Why go? Do you love wine? Then you have to go! 3 hours of tasting will likely leave you stumbling out in happiness. Plus, you might just find another favorite wine at the event. Love at first sight?
