We are having beautiful weather here in NYC and this weekend it’s going be hitting the high 60’s (can we say spring time in December?). It’s important to take advantage of this and head out to these boozy brunch spots for some good eats and constant flowing cocktails before we get into the, “it’s too cold to get out of my pjs I’ll just make pancakes at home” type of winter.
Boozy Brunch List
Nighthawks – 679 Greenwich St, New York, NY 10014
Nighthawks in the West Village is one of my new favorite brunch spots. They run their bottomless brunch deal through PULSD, which is $39 for two entrees and unlimited drinks for two. The staff is attentive and food is great as well.
Recommendation: Chocolate French Toast
Check out my review here. Buy the deal here.
Maya – 1191 1st Avenue, New York, NY 10065

Located on the Upper East Side, Maya will leave you full, tipsy and loving life on your Saturday or Sunday afternoon. For $45 you will enjoy unlimited small plates and unlimited brunch cocktails for 2 hours. Don’t be discouraged by the word “small plates.” All plates are a decent size and the staff are fast with your refills and fast with your orders so you will get your moneys worth. It’s the epitome of boozy brunch.
Recommendation: Tacos de barbacoa & Mexican style street corn. Wash it down with a sparkling sangria
Pig & Khao – 68 Clinton St, New York, NY 10002
In the sexy streets of the Lower East Side, Pig and Khao serves up some Southeast Asian inspired dishes for your boozy brunching pleasure. Add $15 to any entree and enjoy unlimited mimosas with your meal. Plus, the music is poppin! Unlimited mimosas and biggie? Yes please!
Recommendation: Sizzling corn beef hash and garlic fried rice
Queens Comfort – 4009 30th Ave, Astoria, NY 11103
Queens Comfort is running the Astoria brunch scene with it’s BYOB weekend Brunch. Although “technically” not a “boozy brunch” the byob aspect means that it can quickly turn into one. Their menu is always changing so it’s sure to be a different experience every time. Tip: make sure you hit the ATM because it’s cash only.
Recommendation: The Pig Mac
Cuba – 222 Thompson St, New York, NY 10012
Another West Village restaurant that is a must go! Cuba Rum Bar & Restaurant feels like you walked out of the concrete jungle and into Little Havana. Add $14 to any entree and enjoy unlimited brunch cocktails for 1.5 hours. Cocktails include sparkling mojitos and sangria.
Recommendation: Tostenes Rellenos and Sandwich Cubano

Oh these all look fantastic and I’ve never been to any of them! Can’t wait to try them out! My favorite brunch spot in the city is Hotel Chantelle in the LES–rooftop views, a 20’s jazz band, and .92 cocktails–plus the food is just incredible!
I’ve tried Hotel Chantelle for dinner but never brunch. $.92 cocktails? Sounds like my kind of brunch spot! Thanks for sharing, I’ll have to go soon.
